With his friends support after gathering a lot of courage he expresses his heart out in front of Naina but she rejects his proposal as she doesn't believe in love.
Disheartened yet considering the most important life lessons of his grandfather and advices from his friends he persisted with every possible effort and left no stone unturned to try and win her heart. But this didn't affect Naina in any way and she did not reciprocate his love.
